Buffalo Pulp was my first independent production design credit. The brief was to capture the warmth and texture of rural India on a tight budget, which meant being resourceful, hands-on, and deeply intentional about every creative choice.
I managed the entire Art Department across props and set decoration, and collaborated closely with the Wardrobe Department to ensure a cohesive visual aesthetic across every frame. The constraints pushed me to find solutions that felt genuine rather than constructed, and the result was a world that felt lived-in and specific.
