Paychecks is a hip-hop music video built around themes of violence, chaos, and rebellion. The process began with a close collaboration with the artist to understand what the song represented and what he wanted the world of the video to look and feel like.
From that conversation, I made deliberate decisions around location scouting and prop selection to build a visual environment that amplified the energy and attitude of the track. The result was a world that felt raw, specific, and earned.
